2011 highlights.

2011 has ended in a really quick pace,
well its a pretty AWESOME year!!
:D

make it a point to update my happening for each particular year so that i will be able to know what happen as i grew older.

not in sequence:
1) completed my french and got a DPP though results was not fantastic
2) love got into army and we spent lesser time together :( i guess absence makes the heart grows fonder!! never mind its just 1.5 more years to go!!
3) completed my internship of 5 months, worst memories ever but I guess this kind of increase my perseverance
4) went to Taiwan in August with my mother and sister and Japan with the family
5) spent a lot of quality time with my family
6) love's 21st birthday and my 19th birthday with family, love, xinyi and clique, poly clique
7) fell sick during my 19th birthday
8) spent daddy's birthday on a yacht
9) paid for all my daily expenditure with my internship allowance for 5 months, without getting any from parents :D
10) worked part time for 2 weeks
11) blogshop getting more stable, more orders and customers
12) celebrated secondary school clique's birthday: jinwei, jiayi and yiting
13) met up twice with primary school clique
14) lost a bit of weight but i guess i am gaining them back now

that probably sum up all the highlights in 2011,
& i can say everything went smoothly.

as for 2012,
i will be graduating from ngee ann soon.
will most probably be enrolling myself into SIM.
but before that,
i have decided to help out in my father's company during the long holiday.
no resolutions this year for i definitely wont keep to it :X

Here to clear up the spider webs that have been accumulating at my blog~
Going to do a lil update on happenings last week :D

A happy week spent with love during his 1 week block leave,
Was a sweet treat for me before school reopen.
Went to many places , ate a lot of food and did many things as planned.
Shall start updating from Monday till Saturday (101011 - 151011)

101011 ; Monday
Met up with love in the morning,
Headed to Amoy for some goooooooooood food.
Missed the food there as I used to have them a lot while having my internship over there,
Well guess its all memories but only on the food!!
Had char kuay teow , the well raved phad thai and of course frieddddd rice!!
Got some kuehs after that and love drove me home as I need to head to Gleneagles for my review results.
Shall not disclose the results here~

111011 ; Tuesday
A day where we set it for me to shop for some new school clothing after months of work clothing.
Covered many places in orchard but only got a few things which was far from what i expected!!
:(
Dinner was settled @ 2D1N Soju Bang which we long wanted to go but was always turned off by the huge crowd.
Got determined to wait for table this time as I have been there with my siblings but not love.
Didn't want to make a wasted trip down.
Anyway the marinated meat , sausage and watermelon was FAB!! :D
But the minus point was the place was not well ventilated and we reeked of BBQ smell and oiliness on our hair after eating.

New found flavored popcorn - tom yum (my fave!), cheddar cheese, sour cream and onion

121011 ; Wednesday
Another shopping trip for me but this time round its at Bugis~
Accompanied love to get things done @ Singtel before heading down to Bugis.
Finally brought my laptop for servicing and fixing after more than a year of procrastination.
Went to the temple to pray next and headed to Bugis Street for some light shopping.
Oh yaaaaaaaa there's this colorful bubble milk tea shop at Bugis and it tasted good!!
Look out for the shop which sells colorful pearls~
Also got to try the takoyaki balls from the shop beside KOI and weeeeeeeeeeeeeell,
I kinda like the taste as its not as strong compared to others !! :D

131011 ; Thursday
After a week of gorging and eating and stuffing myself madly,
Finally decided on a game of badminton.
Have been deciding on going with love but after months and months of laziness,
We kind of dropped this idea and only got to do it now~
Booked the court @ YCK CC and played for an hour with sufferings of muscle and back ache after math.
That's the consequences of not exercising for a year :X

AHH BUT THE FATS BURNED WHILE EXERCISING CAME BACK TO ME AS I HAD ROTI PRATAS AFTER THAT !! $!#(!)($! * major sadness *

Initial plan was to head for cycling at ECP followed by the well raved Bah Chor Mee at Bedok 85 but I was too lazy and my body was aching like mad so ............ IT WAS RETAIL THERAPY FOR ME AGAIN !! * waves confetti in the air *
Lunch was @ KFC after craving it for many weeeeeeeks and I had to refrain myself from eating to avoid getting a bad sore throat.
Had some vouchers on hand and thus I can shop without spending much money! :D
An impromptu decision to dine @ Kimly Live Seafood as I had craving for their tofu!!
Glad to have love who always give in to me regardless of what I wanted to eat, where I wanted to go and what I wanted to do~ ♥

151011 ; Saturday
Last day for both love and I to spend it together before he needs to book in on the following Monday.
Meetups with buyers was held just like any other Saturday.
Decided to spend it by cooking Seafood Aglio Olio and Cheesy Chicken Meatballs together at his house.
End result was surprisingly delicious just a tad too salty.

been a long time since i came in here to do some updating on my current life ~
well ,
life is going on well as usual ,
apart that i am dying from boredom soon since its the holidays now ~

loads of things changes since the last post which i made on march ,
and this includes the fact that love had enlisted and will be serving the nation for a period of 2 years .
:(
kind of harsh to me since we met up almost everyday and now i am all alone .
boooooooooo ~

well ,
i have completed my 5 months internship scoring a grade of b+ .
pretty satisfied as i had the thought that i will attain a c+ due to the bias-ness but luckily it turned out great .
can only say unhappiness and unwillingness filled me up during the internship ,
it was kind of an eye opener to experience working life dealing with all sorts of people .
and i am glad its all over now !!
* throws confetti into the air *

side tracked a lil ,
here's a lil update on happenings last saturday (17/09)

met up with love as usual in the late morning ,
met up with buyers at bukit batok and amk next as what we always do every saturday ,
dropped the car back at love's house and off we took the train to the com centre in order for me to exchange for my faulty phone .
plaza sing next for johnny english reborn .
am pretty lucky that we managed to get tix online though we are sitting on the 1st 3 rows since its selling real hot !!
movie was shit funny and hilarious ,
been a long time since we had a good laugh .

dinner was settled at xin wang hk cafe ,
ordered many food but due to poor appetite ,
i didnt consumed much .
:(

visited sister with eskimo and takoyaki balls next at the cathay where she's working .
took the train down next to cine to kill some time while waiting for sister to knock off .
reached home at nearing 11pm ,
been a long time since we got home late .

i really look forward and cherish the weekends now ,
since we only got to meet up during the weekends .
got to spend some comfort time together ,
well guess i am starting to be independent now ~

am going to start working for 2 weeks starting from next ,
a good way to kill boredom and counting down to love's pop on the 8th of oct ,
going to spend 1 whole week together with him after that .
cant wait to fill up the week with loads of dining and of course fun !

shall continue updating about taiwan trip when i'm more free ~
meanwhile ,
shall do a little update on my current life ~

exams just ended not long ago ,
praying hard that i'll do well though i might fail WSS .

03/03
decided to have a feast at lele pot to celebrate the end of examinations .
met up with love at westmall and headed off to post some parcels at singpost .
took the train over next to tiong bahru ,
& bused down to lele pot ~

my warm water and love's lychee ice blended :

some fried finger food :

a little of camwhoring :

total bill came up to about $46 .
left lele pot feeling super bloated and satisfied .
it started raining real heavily ,
and we had to take a cab in order to leave the place .
lucky for us we managed to hail a cab .

went to deposit money and got some stuffs @ tiong bahru's NTUC .
took the train down next to amk to meetup with a buyer ~
decided to head down to love's house as the rain is too big and we've some time to slack before heading to bukit batok to meetup with a buyer ~

ended the day by meeting up with a buyer @ bukit batok ~
well day spent .

Taiwan Day 3

woke up at 6+ AM again .
plan of the day was to head to Taiwan International Floral Exposition (花博会) .
sales of the ticket starts at about 9am .
had to wake up early as we need to queue and get the tickets .

had our breakfast in the hotel before leaving .
took the train down to yuanshan (圆山) station .
the crowd there really shocked us as it's christmas eve and schools are bringing students for an excursion .
managed to get 4 more people to join us in buying the group tickets as it's much cheaper .
got the tickets and waited for the hall to be opened .
had to squeeze with so many people that was there in order to get in .
took a group photo with the other 4 person before parting .

first hall that we went to was EXPO dome (争艳馆) .
the hall was all about christmas decoration .
took pictures over there and walked around after that .

decided to have lunch first before the massive crowd comes in .
didn't manage to find any table thus all we had was sushi and takeaway boxes .
walked around after that to see some of the countries' exhibition .

left next as the expo was too big and we were lazy to walk around .
adding on it was raining heavily which make it real inconvenient for us to walk around .
took the train back to taipei main station and walked back to the hotel .
rested in the hotel till late noon and we headed to xi men ding (西门町) .

took the train down to ximen station (西门) .
first shop that i visited was a shop that retails many idol merchandise .
got things for yiting .
went to some street stalls to eat after that .

bought yan su ji (盐酥鸡) and in my opinion ,
singapore one tasted better as there's bones in those sold in taiwan .
had ah zong mian xian (阿宗面线) too .
it's one of the popular street stalls in xi men ding .

got some sweet potato balls (地瓜球) too which tasted super yummmmmmmmmy !!
shopped while we ate .
didn't got much stuffs as there's not much of variety and things were pretty expensive compared to shilin night market (士林夜市) .

saw BBQ mochi and being greedy ,
i bought the cheese mochi which tasted soooo good !
went to search for shops which retail guys clothing and my brother bought several pairs of jeans and top .
back to the hotel next .

shopping loots of the day was a black hooded tank , a white tube , several pairs of socks , a pair of flats , a hip hop pants and a pair of furry shorts .
that's all i can remember .

Taiwan Day 2

got up at about 6am as we will be joining a free tour organized by the tour agency .
anyway ,
we were on a free and easy trip .

had a super early breakfast in the hotel before the tour began .
went to 3 different hotels first to pick up other people who also joined the 1 day tour .
first stop of the day was to some souvenir shop which sell local taiwan goodies .
got love some pineapple tarts (凤梨酥) and jellies for myself .

headed to chiang kai shek memorial hall next if i didn't remember wrongly .
all we have to do is cross the road and there we are !!
managed to see the soldiers solemn marching which will commence every morning in respect of chiang kai shek .

after that ,
we proceeded to yehliu (野柳) .
the journey there was about 1 - 2 hours i think and i had a good sleep on the bus .
reached there and the tour guide brought us to see the famous queen head (女王头) .
only managed to see the replica of it as the real one require us to walk for a good 1/2 hour and we didn't have time for that .
but i managed to take a picture of it from faraway ~

next ,
we went on to jiufen (九份) which was another long journey .
was brought to another souvenir shop and this time round i bought mochi and jellies for love and myself ~
lunch was settled at the street market over there .

after that ,
we headed off to some memorial halls i think (i've forgotten where we went) .
same thing over there ,
just seeing soldiers marching solemnly .

went to the grand hotel (圆山大饭店) next ,
forgot the purpose of visiting there .

visiting of the pixiu (貔貅) place was next ,
and the tour group seriously spend a super long time after there that we had to drop the idea of dipping in hot spa .
the tour ended when the bus dropped all of them except for us off at shilin night market as we went there just yesterday .

was super famished as the bus need to drop by several hotels in order to put people's stuff before sending us back to our own hotel .
dinner was at a cafe just below the hotel i lived in .
food was pretty bad i can say .

though we visited many places in 1 day ,
it was super rush and tiring .
that's why i prefer going on a free and easy tour as we can planned our time .

Taiwan Day 1

went for a holiday to Taiwan with my family last Dec ~
the trip was overall an enjoyable one and I got pretty much stuffs over there .
shall start blogging on the happenings on the 1st day .

board the plane at about 10+ am in the morning ,
had lunch on board the plane .
arrived at Taiwan at about 3 pm in the noon .
due to the traffic jam ,
we only managed to reach the hotel at about 5 pm in the evening .

washed up once we checked in to our room and off we left for shilin night market .
note : alight at jiantan (剑谭) station instead of shilin (士林) station to minimize walking distance .

walked around in search of food .
finally settled down at one of the stalls over there .
after dining ,
we went to walk around shilin night market ~
loads and loads of pretty clothing were sold there and pretty low price and i really regret not getting them on the 1st day as I thought there might be more at other night market .
:(

went to tian lan xiao pu (天蓝小铺) @ shilin known as Bigi in search for buyers' bag as bigi dont accept overseas order that time .
was at the shop for a pretty long time while waiting for the shop assistant to help me check on availability of bags .
got myself a bag over there !!
:D

headed to another outlet next which is located at da nan (大南) to collect some of the bags which I reserved at the shilin store .
luckily its within walking distance .
collected the bags and off we went for a mini shopping trip while carrying more than 20 bags on hand .

got myself a pair of jeggings at 250 NTD only !!
headed back to the hotel next as it was pretty late .
webcammed with love back at the hotel and turned in past midnight .
that sums up my day 1 in Taiwan ~

Had school in the morning till about 3 in the noon ~

Headed off to Jurong point next for buyer meeting session .
Walked around while waiting for buyer to arrive as I was early ~

Had dinner at soup restaurant with love to celebrate advanced 17th month ~
The food over there was great !!
Walked around and head home after that .

Well ,
School life was hectic and I am pretty happy that lectures have all come to an end except for WSS which I dread most .

Tests and exams will commence after Chinese new year ,
And I pray hard that everything will go on smoothly for me .

14th December
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JIAYI !!

met up with yiting and jinwei at jurong point .
bought jiayi's birthday cake and had yami yogurt ~
jiayi and junshan came next and off we head to bugis .

reached bugis and walked over to la mei zi steamboat next .
variety of food was pretty limited and the soup base is not really fantastic .
the ma la soup base was super super hot !!

ate for about 3 hours and left ~
drove them to kbox @ jurong safra after that .
unable to join them as i had to be home ~

let's backtrack a bit to before Christmas .

20th December
had an advanced Christmas celebration with love as I will not be in Singapore during the festive season .

plan of the day was to catch a movie and follow by dinner at cafe cartel .

start the day of by meeting buyer at several places .

head to douby ghaut next for movie .
wanted to catch hello stranger initially but we were only left with the choice of sitting right in front .
gave up the thoughts of it and bought tickets for tron instead .
total disappointment though ,
left halfway through .

back to love's house for awhile .
went to bishan j8 next to find that cafe cartel there was closed down already .
walked around and finally decided to dine at manhatten fish market .
food was a total disappointment though .

had seafood platter for one whereas love had another platter to himself .
haha the food totally cannot make it .
the platter is tasteless ,
soup is too sour .
definitely will not go back again .

ended the dinner with a log cake .
shared a little slice with love .

parents got to know of my relationship ;

got my license ;

HAPPY 15th MONTH LOVE !!
been a long journey for us and I hope we will walk together till the end .

had a mini celebration with love yesterday .
went to bukit batok for kfc egg tarts and teh tarik first .

drove to orchard next .
went to calvin klein to collect my membership card .
kinda get cheated as I thought the $100 voucher that they will be giving has no terms and conditions .
ended up I need to spend a min. of $300 to use it .

decided to walk to far east next .
only managed to get a pair of shoes there .
nothing much caught my attention though .

walked over to fancl @ ngee ann city next .
get stuffs for mummy and I .
left after that .

drove over to punggol for bbq and steamboat .

well ,
this place is real deserted and the route there really looks like malaysia .
if you are not driving or do not have a GPS ,
I guess you will be lost .

but but but !!
food was real nice though .
the variety was pretty ok though I kind of get cheated by the reviews .

reached there @ about 6 something and left only @ 9 something .

i am back .

anyway ,
updates on yesterday .

had some lousy boring course in the morning .
super reluctant to wake up on a Saturday morning just to attend a letter writing/resume writing course .
no choice but to attend as i will not be able to graduate if i did not turn up .

luckily it ended pretty early .
:D

met up with love and headed to jp .
plan was to go to the sales @ mini bits and mini toons .

dropped the idea of going into mini toons as the crowd was really ......
went to mini bits instead .
got some accessories @ 50% off .

was famished and headed to kuishinbo for lunch !!
craving for it since a long time ago ~~

food variety was pretty ok as compared to other buffet restaurant .
the prawns were really really fresh !!

ate till stomach nearly burst .
walked around and drove to sommerset 313 next .

left the car there and trained down to suntec after that .
wanted to go to the coach/kate spade/gucci warehouse sales but really regretted going for it .
bags there were all so old and price was kinda same as those in boutiques .

left and went to visit my sister @ the it fair next .
got myself an iPhone casing which was absolutely cute whereas love got himself a charger .

trained back to sommerset after that .
wanted to collect my membership card next at calvin klein but i left the letter in the car .

was pretty lazy to walk back so decided to collect it next week instead .
headed to fancl for some masks and went home after that .

well day spent with love .
been a long time since we were able to relax ourselves .

went over to the pines garden as i wanted to try their cakes since i saw good reviews online .

spent my day @ his house .
love gave me a bouquet of flowers made from ferrero rocher and a bear hugging it .

left town @ around 7 plus .
dolphin accompanied me to take bus to my house and i waited her bus with her .

supposingly having a surprise celebration for huimin but not well planned .

finally went to the zooooooooooo after so long !
filled with excitement !

met @ around 1 pm .
dined @ pizza hut first before heading to the zoo .
YUM YUM ~
eat till super round and full .
bought yami yogurt and left for the zoo .

by the time we reached there ,
it`s around 330 pm already .

bought entrance tickets and began exploring the zoo .
walked sweat ; walked sweat .
SUPER HOT !

took the tram to different destination .
alighted @ the polar bear's enclosure .
waited for it's feeding time which is at around 445 pm .

REAL amazed @ how much can a polar bear eat .
no wonder its super round round and fat fat .
spells C-U-T-E !

left the polar bear's enclosure and began to walk around again .

day out with sister .
met up with love in the morning .
parted and headed to je to meet up with sister .
SHE MADE ME WAIT FOR HER FOR HALF HOUR !!

train-ed over to harbourfront and went to vivo city .
walked around with my heels and it hurts !
i think i spent near $40 solely on plasters .
i got blisters plasters , shoe grip and many others .

had some light food , walked around vivo before heading to meet my maid's friend to pass her things .

left vivo and train-ed over to douby ghaut .
walked over to fish&co with my painful feet .

haha i think its quite worth it .
for $14 ++ excluding GST and service charge ,

had been working with indian dolphin for the 1st 2 days of the week .

i just woke up from my afternoon nap ,

Korea Day 3 / Jiayi's Birthday .

HAPPY SWEET 16th BIRTHDAY JIAYI (14/12) !

shall post about the 3rd day of the trip .
went to Seowipo Beach ,
saw many women swimming in the sea as they are fishing for a living .
local people name them as 海女 ,
& they`re mostly widows aged 6o and above .
climbed the mountain and gave up half way as there's nothing up there .

next ,
headed to Seongeup Folk Village ,
which was used to film 大长今 (Da Chang Jin) ,
after that ,
visisted Jusangjeolli and headed for lunch .

went to Cheonjeyeon waterfall after that ,
which is a beautifu 3-tier waterfall and gorge ,
resembling the white celestial robes of 7 nymphs .
we also witness the famous Seonimygo Bridge ,
which is the first arched bridge in the serenity of Cheonjeyeon falls .

followed that was the Teddy Bear Museum .
HEH HEH .
finally something that attracted my attention .
the museum showcases different types of bears ,
it also include the LV bear ,
which is the most expensive bear in the museum .
the tour guide brought us to some shopping centre after that .

headed for dinner and checked in to the Lotte Hotel ,
which was used to film the drama 'All In' .
bathed and we went to watch "Volcano Fountain Show" .
went back to our respective rooms and slept .

i did not tell him anything ,
back from korea this morning @ around 1 am .
a 6h1o minutes flight .
pretty long uh .
shall update happenings on day 1 and 2 .
except for the fact that you still love him .
day 1 was spent on the planeeeeeeee .
reached changi international airport @ about 12 .
boarded the 22o am plane .
i forget the duration of the flight .
reached incheon international airport @ about 1o plus korea time ,
korea is 1 hour ahead of singapore .
did all the necessary stuffs and took the bus to gimpo domestic airport .
boarded the flight to jeju islanddddd .
SUPER TIRED !
only close friends know what i really did .
had samgetang (korean ginseng chicken soup) for lunch .
it does not taste as nice as what i thought !
after that ,
the tour guide brought us to the mysterious road to experience the phenomenon of going uphill with the vehicle engine off .
haha .
there's no ghost or what .
just humans' thinkings .
pretty bored eh .

thereafter ,
we went to Yongduam (Dragon Head Rock) and Songsan Sunrise Peak .
its a volcanic crater perched out on the eastern tip of Jeju .
didn't went furtherdown to see the rock as the weather was super COLD !
its SNOWING !

went for dinner after that and headed for the hotel .
the hotel was superrrrrrrrrr classic and huge !
its sort of a condominium apartment ,
it includes cooking facilities , 2 toilets and a living room .
& 2 person is sharing each room which is like too big .
bathed and the day ended like this !

has been a long time since i last updated my blog .

have been having loads of fun after O's .

no point dwelling over papers that i have done badly .

especially POA .

just came back from thailand on monday morning , 2/12 .

was scheduled to return back to singapore on the 26th .

but apparently ,

those anti-government protesters caused the airport to be closed .

went to airport on the 26th at about 9 in the morning and saw them .

they blocked almost all of the routes to the airport .

my father thought that they were workers ,

and were there to repair the roads .

accomodation and food was provided .

u-tapao , the navy airport is made a temporary airport .

& shopping malls are made to be temporary check-in counters .

only minimal planes can depart from the airport daily due to its size .

air tickets were all sold out as passengers from SQ and TG are given priority .

sooooooo ,

we booked a van and had a 24 hours ride back to sg from bangkok !

NAO HIA .

damn far and my butt nearly split .

we had to carry all those heavy luggages in and out of the custom .

i saw bang bang tang when i was about to depart from singapore on the 22th .

saw them at the entrance to the toilet .
